My new LunarGlide nike
The new Nike was as always received on time, Amazon have proved through the years to be quite accurate in the delivery schedules they give. The new nike is what I ordered exactly, fits perfect an excellent quality running shoe this is my forth LunarGlide Nike. Since I got my first one I have not liked using anything else.
A Nike icon with great materials and design, but not without a few quirks.
<br /><br />1. The shoe's tread is non-existent after a year. These are my daily go-to shoes, and have been worn almost every day since the time of my purchase, but there's no reason for a shoe to wear down so fast. They're fine for most situations, but wet tile floors or certain sidewalks can be treacherous. I wouldn't even think to wear them if it was icy out. Even when they had tread, ice performance was pretty bad, but this is not a technical shoe by any means, so I can't really knock it too much for that.<br /><br />2. The heel support is made of some kind of cardboard. This is totally fine and comfortable, but if you compress the heel too much, the support develops wrinkles that are non-repairable. There's no way to remedy this, but it is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect comfort or performance.
Favorite Air Max ever!
The 2017 Nike Air Max has been my favorite shoe since I first tried them on. It has been hard to find those who are still selling these Air Max shoes and I am hoping that Nike continues to manufacture these continuously. These are probably the 8th pair I have purchased since they came out. Thank you for a great shoe!

Forget Nike or Reebok! I've found Inov-8!
From where I live, road/pavement is the most abundant terrain. I started out with the RealFlex craze from Reebok and then the Nike Free Run. I ran with the Reebok RealFlex Speed shoes first. With their 9mm drop it was a huge transition for me from those traditional higher heeled sneakers. However, I've adapted and enjoyed them for quite a bit. Though sometimes running on the hard road felt uncomfortable with them. I feel like they are made more for the trail and I had to choose a new pair of road shoes. So, I try the Nike Free Run 5.0+ which has a 13mm drop. Worst decision ever. I could not get used to the higher heel to toe drop anymore and my runs became more uncomfortable, compared to when I wore my Reeboks.<br /><br />All hope seemed lost. I've researched about Inov-8's Road-X 255 shoe and decided to try them out. Boy, I could not have been happier with this decision. So, I'm back to the 9mm drop. The cushioning is just right. I felt like my feet could take the impact of mid-foot striking better than ever. Also, the ingenious sole padding has holes for maximum breath-ability for my feet! These shoes break in pretty easily, so I'd suggest going with your exact foot size. Road runners who want to move into a more minimal running style need to definitely consider this shoe. Find this shoe at a lower price and it is a steal!
