I have had good luck with Adidas over the years

Ecstatic! I'm large 6'5"/220 lbs,, with foot problems that require custom orthotic inserts. I require a stable shoe, with a deep bed and ample size, that can keep my feet dry. A tall order that even Doctor prescribed shoes have trouble meeting, I have had good luck with Adidas over the years, but haven't tried any with gore-tex. When a number of reviewers stated that these ran a little large, I held my breath and took a chance. What a great decision! After removing the standard inserts, my orthotics fit perfectly, the shoes run slightly larger than normal, as hoped, leaving me with a perfect fit, that was comfortable out of the box.The build and soles give my the stability I require. I am ordering a 2nd pair as backup during the upcoming Michigan winter. Highly recommend thes shoes. Hope this review helped!

hella fresh shoes

I'm not going to lie, I bought these mainly for the style. Wanted a white golf shoe with street kicks looks. I've been wearing sketchers nubbed-sole street shoes golfing, and never had a problem, so I saw no reason to go full on screw-in spiked. These are called 'spikeless', but they are covered in little 1/4" colored spikes on the bottom, which are perfect for the course and the sidewalks. They come with a pair of white and a pair of tan shoelaces, a must for changing up the style. Unless you have a narrow foot, I would suggest buying these in the wide size, as adidas tend to run skinny.Now, lets get down to brass tax, how they are on the greens. Wearing them around the house, they felt a bit stiff, but out on the course they were comfy all day. This past weekend put them through the full test (90+ deg heat, cicadas, followed by rain showers, mud, and wet grass). These shoes are the real deal. They kept my feet sweat-free during the heat, and dry during the rain. By the end of the round, they were covered in bug wings, mud, and grass stains. When I got home I did as I do with all my street kicks, pulled out the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and brought the freshness of that white back into them. They cleaned up real easy, and I was able to get rid of almost all signs of use, except for a slight stain on the toe cap of my right shoe (my back foot). That would be my only complaint is that the tan leather goes all the way down the toe, making it vulnerable to stains.In summary, these are stylish and comfy street kicks for the course at a decent price (compared to ecko shoes) that seem to handle the heat and rain fairly well. I would recommend, but don’t crimp and wear your pair around me.

Awesome Golf Shoe!!

As some of the other reviews stated, the toe box has a little extra room width wise but not to much. If you have a medium width foot you will be ok. The length was a perfect fit for my normal size (12). These shoes have a relaxed and athletic feel and have fantastic grip on the grass. Adidas hit a home run with these shoes!!! I've been looking for shoes like these for quite a while...so comfortable with a tennis shoe feel, yet, very grippy on the course. Wore them while driving to the course and also after in the bar/lounge and back home. Get some...you'll like 'em! If Adidas is reading this...Give us some more colors and accents! And I don't mean black.

Good shoe

Don't really buy adidas shoes often, mainly because I prefer other styles like Saucony to wear when I'm running around on campus. But this is a solid shoe so far - good cushion, basic style, comfortable. Good all-around shoe for running around the house or town. The "lead/white/collegiate navy" color looks very grey in the picture, but they actually look more baby-blue than grey or navy.

Great value / Quality shoe

At first I was concerned that the all canvas shoe wasn't going to feel good, but I have been pleasantly surprised. They aren't as sturdy feeling as my previous leather Samba's, but I am happy with these at half the price. You don't find many $25 shoes that are this comfortable or quality-made.I also like the appearance of these without the Adidas stripes. You can get away with wearing these with business casual clothes, unlike regular athletic shoes.I'd recommend for the price, but I would buy the leather shoes if the price was equal.

Love my Sambas!

I love the classic look of the Adidas Original Samba shoe. There is something about this shoe that gives it a classic look that seems to look good with pretty much anything you wear. In addition, this is one of the few shoes that I have worn that immediately people recognize. I think this is the Adidas version of Chuck's. I have had at least a dozen people mention my shoes by saying, "I love your Sambas, where did you find them." or "Sambas or my favorite shoes!" Either way they must make a statement.When it comes to the fit, I have to say these are a normal size in length but a bit on the narrow size. I expected this so I ordered them a half size larger than y normal shoe and they fit pretty well. I do wish Adidas would break down and provide a wide version of their shoes so I could avoid by them a half size larger than needed. I thought about knocking a star for not having this option but the shoes are just to nice to do that. I have read that people complain about these shoes being squeaky when you walk in them until they are broken in but mine do not make any squeaky noises at all. I am loving these shoes. Especially since I am a soccer guy!

More comfortable than I thought!

Adidas' Neo brand is their budget line I believe, so I didn't have high expectations for these shoes. Just wanted something to wear one day a week and look good. Well they turned out to be really comfortable. So far I'm trying to find more excuses to wear them, and they still look great!I always buy 8.5 in Adidas, that's what I bought, and they fit great.

A little wider would be nice

It's hard enough to find wide shoes, let alone wide basketball shoes, so props to Adidas for even making them. But to be honest they aren't really for true wide feet. I can almost guarantee you people will still complain about the width not being wide enough. But it works for me so I can't complain.

Apparently there are two types of Sambas. I've always liked the look of the Samba, but when I've tried them on in the past I was always disappointed with the comfort. The "classic" Samba is a little narrower and has more aggressive arch support along with the longer tongue. The "original" Samba is a bit wider, flat footed and has a short tongue. Other than that, there are only minor esoteric differences. One minor problem I have is there is no "shoe lace loop" on the tongue. So, the tongue has a tendency to slide down to the right or left while walking. Tightening the laces usually fixes this.I'd tried on the "classic" in the past, as it is usually what you will find in sporting-goods stores. I don't like them. I have high arches but prefer the feel of a flat footed shoe (think Chucks or cheap sandals). These feel similar, but have more tension in the heel. The added tension provides some comfort to your heel and, most importantly, keeps these shoes snug on the foot. Really, it takes a good amount of effort to get these off--they're not going anywhere.Now...many people complain about the squeakiness of the shoes. They do squeak. It's like a rubber-on-leather sound that is mildly annoying and unpleasant. However, there are very simple fixes...shoe polish, sandpaper, tape... All I did was put some scotch tape on the tongue and my shoes are nice and quiet. Many people seem to be overreacting to this point...it's an easy fix and not worth totally ditching a perfectly good shoe.These are my new go-to shoe for casual days. They look great and are very comfortable. I've had several people comment on them already. My only gripe is that I should have ordered a half-size larger. I wear around a 12 and that's what I ordered. These seem to run slightly small, or are meant to the tight, my toes often touch the front of the shoe. By the time I'd realized this, I'd worn the shoes for a few days and was unable to return them. But, I've grown accustomed to the snug fit and quite like them. Once the leather breaks, these shoes are very easy to wear all day. Once mine wear out (most likely in a few years or so) I will definitely buy another pair. Great shoes.

As a chick with small feet, the shoe was rather roomy so I had to wear nineteen pairs of socks with them (eleven of those were my husband's gym socks). I only tripped about fifteen times before I decided to start walking knee to chest to combat that. Aside from the clown feet I now appear to have, I must say I look AH-MAZING while I sport my Adidas in my business suit, apron, nightie or hazmat suit! They have miraculously boosted my self confidence, but for some reason, I still can't shoot a free throw. As for the price, well, being a chick, I was instantly drawn to the possibility that I might possess an item as rare as the Hope Diamond, so I sprang for two pair…because I could and because I had a $10 Amazon coupon. I had to sell my husband's kidney and put the rest of the balance on my Target credit card, but it is well worth it to be part of an exclusive Adidas sneaker club. And as a member of Amazon Prime, I didn't pay that ridiculous $4.99 shipping, so that was an added bonus. If my husband had another extra kidney, I'd definitely buy a third pair.
