I have ordered other brands of running shoes. Most don't have the support or don't last long. So, I went back to Nike for great looks, superior comfort and reasonable prices. My husband is a left below-knee amputee who wears a prothesis so footwear is extremely important for him in terms of comfort, fit, and safety. Because his weight isn't evenly distributed with his leg weighing much more than his prosthesis, it's extremely difficult for him to find shoes that are comfortable. He has been wearing these 608 Nike sneakers for over a decade. They fit him extremely well and because they are athletic shoes, they have good traction and don't slip. My husband has been wearing these sneakers for so long that I worry one day I won't be able to find them anymore. Thankfully, I can always find them on Amazon.
