These were a great gift for my seventeen year old boy. It was priced just right for my Christmas budget. The quality of the shoe was great. My son is enjoying wearing his shoes to school and everywhere else.
Go up about half a size to be safe
I usually wear a 11.5, but for shoes that have a reputation for running small like AJ1's, I go up to a 12...decided to take a chance on them being a perfect fit at size 12 and was not disappointed. Love the shoe, love the size, great price and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Only thing I would say is if you're looking to match colors, the gray isn't exactly a light value, it leans toward the darker set of values, but only barely.
