New Balance Logo, Tongue and Heel-back look Holographic Purple
I still like the shoes, but i was very surprised to open the box and see a rainbow sheen on all of the purple sections of this shoe.<br />I kept them, so obviously it wasnt TOO large a hangup, but it definitely was a little flashier than i'd anticipated with the rainbow-ish effect in the light.

New Balance shoes are the greatest foot forming design of all the brands I've bought recently. It fits all points perfectly for an athletic shoe on my foot. Does not squeeze my toes tightly, arch support is perfect, and the in sole padding is very comfortable. New Balance exceeds all the previous brands of athletic shoes I have purchased...a great foot form fitting design.
Thank goodness for New Balance
This is the only brand and model of shoe I can wear other that Velcro strap wide sandals. I have ridiculously wide feet, duck feet, wide in front and narrow in back. This model comes wide enough to fit and the way the heel has the piece that surrounds the ankle well, it also does not let me slip out of the heel when I walk. I am so glad they make them. I'm a female and I take a 6e width shoe. Ridiculous. But yay to New Balance for making something that fits!

They look like authentic New Balance to me. This seem to be a little bit better than the NB608, which is what I had been wearing. We'll see how these hold up. I will update my review in about 6 months.
New Balance slider
My husband is very pleased with the New Balance Slider in Grey. He had bought the black pair but in 2E. While those are comfortable he wanted more room. The Grey ones in 4E are perfect. They arrived as promised and he loves them.
NEW BALANCE MENS 801
GOT THESE SHOES A FEW DAYS AGO AND HAVE NOT TAKEN THEM OFF SINCE. THEY ARE VERY COMFORTABLE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A COMFORTABLE SNEAKER.
New Balance 574
I ordered these shoes from Amazon. They came packaged well but kind of slow on the shipping. I normally can order an item from Amazon and have it within a week. I ordered the New Balance 574 and it took close to three weeks for me to receive my shoes. The good thing is, I was able to track the shoes via the Amazon tracking system which gave me at least peace of mind. The shoes looked exactly like the photo and were brand new, never worn. The New Balance 574 is an amazing shoe. I needed to get a new shoe and a friend recommended I try a New Balance shoe. I must say, this is one of the most comfortable shoes around. Went to a store where they measure your foot to make sure I get the right shoe. It truly does make a difference. If you are considering purchasing this shoe, I suggest this as an option. I hope this review helps. YMMV... NEOSOUL.
Merrell takes New Balance's market
I used to have New Balance Minimus leather shoes but then NB stopped making them. Together with pretty much all minimalist shoes they had (including gore-tex version; Merrell, it's a hint!).<br />So these Merrell is very similar to those NB and even better (more civil) looking. They are not as comfy as NB but it's comparing shoes that exist with those they don't. So Merrell wins.<br />I like the wide toe area. No rubbing on side of your foot.<br />Those are perfect shoes for traveling as they take very little space in luggage and they are light. They are also comfy for whole day travel. And they breath well. I combine them with merino socks and no stinky feet for days. I sprayed th shoes with water repellent. That made a huge difference. Otherwise, they suck water pretty fast. Again, please, someone make minimalist GTX version again.<br />I bough grey AND black. Please, make more colors. some of the women version has nice color.Make it in men sizes too. Dark grey would be nice. So would dark brown.

I took a shot at sizing as expected, and given how most sneaker makers are about size, I was worried. These fit perfectly. These are a great shoe and a great sneaker. Buy New Balance every time, with confidence.
