be aware of difference wrt Samba Classic, otherwise good shoes
they're squeaky as others have said, but you don't really notice it outside. Hopefully they'll stop squeaking before long. I haven't tried the sandpaper or the grease remedy. The tongue seems cheap and occasionally folds over inside when inserting foot. Insoles are nice and flat in contrast the Samba Classic
What you see is what you get: classic Adidas
This is the classic Adidas Samba that you know and love. It fits and feels like a sneaker, so the arch support isn't fantastic, but I am able to walk all day in these with mildly cushioned socks and they're great. I probably will keep buying this same shoe for years and years, as I don't ever tire of the classic look. Overall, just a faithful shoe that'll last a long time.
Nice Adidas Sandals... !!!
I purchased these sandals a couple of years ago... And They still are as the first day They came into my hands... They look GREAT at the beach... Of course I don't wear them frequently... They look a bit fragile and maybe They could even break if You are not careful... But In general They are GREAT... Recommended.

This isn't my first pair of Samba's so I should ...
This isn't my first pair of Samba's so I should have remembered that they are a wide shoe. I have Superstars, Pro Model, and many Gazelles, but these run wider than those other Adidas originals. The toe-box gets all wrinkled by my trying to pull in the laces tighter. I wear size thirteen, and may have a narrow foot for the length, but I don't have this issue with the other Adidas models listed.

I've been wearing Adidas NEOs for several years and these are basically more of the same. I bought the same size I always have and these fit very well. The only ding is previous versions in gray were available with stripes in a color other than white. I would have preferred gray or green, some darker color, like I was able to get in the past.

I've been and adidas wearer too many years to admit. Most comfortable; sneaker, gym shoe, tennis shoe or whatever you want call them. My son's spend way too much money on there Jordans. They just don't understand how good it feels wearing; "My Adidas!"
Adidas Fast R great
My third pair of Fast R's albeit my first pair of no Gore Tex. They just fit my feet so well I'm tempted to buy several pair for reserve in the event they go out of production. The first day ir so they seem hard, sound hard, feel hard, but after that they function very well and provide good lateral support and allow for very fast paced forward movement. Speed laces? I love them and can't stand tie shoes any longer. My last pair began to show some wear on the outer sheath of the laces where the cord gripper engages the laces, but otherwise they performed as expected. I suppose one could find a replacement lace kit. These are great shoes that perform very well day in and day out.

Great, classic adidas shoe. Width is normal to slightly wide. I did have to order down a half size and even that is still just a little roomy.

So I bought these thinking I liked the style and colors it had. Upon getting them I was amazed at how pretty they looked and how the colors and style just was so sporty.<br />I get asked all the time if their Adidas. the black doesn't really stay black. They also crease a lot on the top surface of the shoe which makes them kind of wrinkly and not as attractive.<br /><br />The sole: I think after 3 months almost every day, on various terrain, the bottom sole wore down in a way that seemed like a lot for only 3 months. Adidas sneakers have a fairly soft plastic/rubber on the sole and it seems to wear down for me... maybe the way I walk not sure.<br /><br />My original review:<br />This shoe is really comfortable. It seems to be water resistant to some degree. I went hiking on a muddy trail and the tread filled in pretty quickly with mud. I bought them because my regular Adidas will not work in a wet climate. I will likely stick with the hiking boots for hiking but these seem like great everyday shoes when you want a non-porous Adidas shoe.
