Adidas continues to get their outdoor shoes right. These are amazing. Very comfortable for all day, and very warm for cold. The lower part of the boot is rubber and is very durable, and the tread is great. They will take a beating. I save them for hiking in rain, cold, or snow - the rest of the time I use my Adidas AX 2 hikers, which I also highly recommend. I have always used Adidas for running shoes, but now that I have tried both of these hiking shoes, I know that Adidas has figured out the sporting shoe market.
I'M HOOKED ON ADIDAS TERREX!!
This is my second pair in 4 Years!!! That's how long my last TERREX lasted before it gave up the ghost. These are marvelously comfortable hiking sneakers.

Compare to other boots I have had (Adidas, Timberland, ARMY, BATES) these are lighter and material seems to be good.<br />The size run a little bit larger so if buying consider that. 1/2 number less will be a good recommendation to be comfortable since the size run out almost 1 number larger.<br />I have ware the whole day and although they are light and comfortable, there is something (some kind of boot support) at the ankle of the boot that after 4 hours starts aching you. That is why I give 4 starts. Besides that I will give these boots a 5 stars.
Feels/looks to run slightly larger than my other adidas
Great quality shoe, however my other adidas boots/shoes are size 11, but these are slightly bigger and feel like 11.5 even though they say 11. When held up to my other adidas, they are prob 1/2 inch longer (with heels at equal level) So my only advice is to order a half size down from what you normally wear. Great boot otherwise and have already got compliments about them at work.

Love Adidas Hiking Shoes
I have always had high expectations from Adidas. The folks at Adidas grasp have always (from the 1950s) grasped and applied bio-mechanical principles to athletic shoes. This why these shoes so well (my feet have a straight last) that the shoes almost do not need a break-in period. Best of all these shoes guide foot movements for a smooth and effective stride. Can't wait to take then on the trail.

I am an old guy who began a love affair with Adidas running (training-racing) shoes in the mid-1960's. I have a straight foot shape and Adidas have always fit well (Puma hove not - the last is for a banana shaped foot). This shoe incorporates amazing German engineering expertise - the same expertise that makes their track racing shoes so effective. Back in the late twentieth century the problem with Adidas products was that they advertised fabulous products that were almost impossible to find. This problem has been relieved by Amazon.com that makes Adidas readily available. Love Adidas and Amazon.com.
